There is a Native American legend that during the time of the Great Flood the Ant People brought the Native Americans into their inner earth homes and saved them from drowning. This huge nature-crafted red rock memorial to this event can be found inside the Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Standing back to back are a Native American (left) and an Ant Person (right) – the ant person’s profile is similar to those found on ancient petroglyphs of the area.
