Petrified Wood
Petrified Wood is a transformative fossil that helps unlock earth energy and transform it into action. It is very useful for progress as it removes “petrified” ideas that have stuck inside the mind. Using it can also help unlock information on past lives through meditation.

Historical Folklore
In Dutch folklore, it is believed that fairies came from the sun to the earth to live among the trees. When their home trees passed, they would burrow and become petrified in the soil they grew from.
In Arizona, the Petrified Forest National Park is home to many fossilized wood specimens. Just be wary—it is thought to be bad luck to take wood from the preserve.
Geology
This fossil is formed when ancient wood is replaced and hardened by another mineral, usually chalcedony or quartz. It can be found in a variety of patterns worldwide.

Petrified wood resonates with the Earth star, base, sacral, solar plexus, and higher heart chakras.
Care
You can place petrified wood in full moon moonlight to energize. It can also be moved through sage smoke or incense, placed in rice, or buried in the earth overnight.

Leo is sometimes associated with petrified wood.
Health Folklore
Petrified wood is commonly linked with aiding bone durability and soothing tired muscles.
