Medium Tumbled Rhodonite
These pieces of Medium Tumbled Rhodonite show a soft silver pink color with black inclusions and bands throughout. We call these stones cubish because of the shape the have from being tumbled, sort of cube like with some sharper lines but definitely not a true cube. These are medium tumbled stone so they vary in size between 3/4″ an 1″ in length.

Historical Folklore
Rhodonite’s name comes from the Greek word rhodon, meaning “rose” or “rosy”.
Russian Czars supposedly crafted platters out of rhodonite to give as wedding gifts. In fact, this stone served as an important part of Russia’s historical culture, as its people once placed it in cribs to watch over infants.
Geology
Rhodonite is a manganese based Silicate mineral of the single chain inosilicate type. This means its composed of interlocking chains of tetrahedron shaped silicate crystals with manganese being bound to certain locations along this chain. It is the presence of a certain type of manganese cation that gives rhodonite its pink coloration. Rhodonite has a notable presence in areas of New Jersey, Sweden New South Wales and the Ural mountains of Russia.
Chakra Association
Rhodonite works especially well with the Heart, High Heart, and Heart Seed chakras. It also resonates with the Solar Plexus chakra.
Astrological Association
Taurus, Cancer, and Pisces are thought to resonate with this stone.
Health Folklore
According to folklore, rhodonite aids the processes of the nervous system, lungs, and ears. It is also a wound healer with an affinity for helping the bones, joints, and immune system.
