Lionskin

Lionskin is a silicified combination of Quartz and Golden Tiger Eye, carrying the properties of both. This stone will help you find clarity, enhance your intuition, and gently attune to your third eye chakra. By keeping your mind clear, Lionskin can help attract wealth and abundance into your life. Lionskin is known for its very earthy quality and ability to bring out positive traits in people.

Historical Folklore

In recent time, Lionskin has been mistakenly called “Lion Skin Jasper”. Geologically, this stone has no relation to Jasper.

Tiger Eye stones have been used as protective talismans for centuries.

Geology

Lionskin combines Gold Tiger Eye and Quartz into one stone. It is often tan or brown with black markings. Lionskin is currently mined in South Africa.

Chakra Association

Lionskin is primarily connected to the solar plexus chakra.

Care

You can place Lionskin in full moon moonlight to energize. It can also be moved through sage smoke or incense, placed in rice, or buried in the earth overnight.

Astrological Association

Lionskin is associated with Gemini and Leo.

Health Folklore

Lionskin is thought to be effective at alleviating stress, fear, and anxiety. Because it contains quartz, it is also helpful for promoting a general sense of well-being.
