Rhodochrosite gets its name from the Greek word rhodon, meaning “rose” or “rosy”.
The Incas believed this stone formed from the blood of their former kings and queens. This gave it the nickname “Inca Rose”.
Rhodochrosite is the official state mineral of Colorado.
Geology
Rhodochrosite is a pink or red type of mineral formed from carbon and manganese. It has been found primarily in Argentina and Colorado in the USA.

Rhodochrosite primarily works with the heart, higher heart, heartseed, and soma chakras. It is also capable of clearing the root and solar plexus chakras.
Care
You can place rhodochrosite in full moon moonlight to energize. It can also be moved through sage smoke or incense, placed in rice, or buried in the earth overnight.
