Dark Tumbled Serpentine

Serpentine (also known as New Jade) is an earth stone that brings the blessings and protection of the ancestors. By deepening your meditation and removing energetic blockages, this stone helps you to make peace with time. Use it to clear clouded areas of the chakras so that they can align more easily. When mental or emotional balances are present, serpentine provides clarity and comfort.

The ancient Romans used Serpentine to protect against sorcery and the dark arts. 

Geology

Serpentine is a metamorphic rock made up of several different kinds of minerals. This stone comes in a wide variety of colors, from translucent apple greens to opaque browns. This stone has been mined in the United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, Arabia, Canada, and the United States.  Serpentine is the base of another common stone Atlantisite, which is distinguished by the purple inclusions of Stichtite found throughout.

Gemini is typically associated with this stone.

Health Folklore

Folklore has said that this stone is able to help with calcium and magnesium absorption, as well as aid the pancreas and blood.
