On my morning drive through Crater Mountain (southern BC) I encountered some deer also travelling on the road. I stopped and turned off the car as they approached – when they saw me, they skittered partway up the mountain side… Then they decided to cross the road in front of me and headed down to travel alongside the river.
I snapped many photos of this lovely encounter but it wasn’t ’till later that I saw the Misty crossing guard directing the trio around me ! … Phyllis
