Trick or Treating takes place at participating stores in historic downtown Geneva. 

All merchants participating will have an orange trick or treat sign at the front of their building. 

At Crystal Life, instead of candy, little trick or treaters get to choose their own magic rock from Crystal Life’s rock bucket!

This is a full day opportunity to explore Nature Spirits. The morning session will be an open discussion, in which you will see actual photos of nature spirits as they have chosen to manifest themselves in rocks and trees. Moss Fairies, trolls, gnomes, Ladies of the Forest, greenmen and greenwomen…Atala has been gifted the opportunity to take their photos, and will share the nature knowledge they have taught her via a Powerpoint presentation.

     We break for lunch – bring your own to paperbag it, or there are take out places somewhat nearby.

     Then in the afternoon, we will go on an outing where Atala will assist you in learning to sense and see nature spirits for yourself. Digital cameras work best, and sometimes inexpensive cameras work better than more expensive ones; the new camera phones do well! All levels of photographic knowledge welcome. Bring your camera, a tripod is useful, something to kneel on, and a sweet for the nature spirits. Dress for the outdoors. Bring a picnic lunch and water.
