Copper Nuggets, Copper Pieces
These Copper Nuggets and Copper Pieces are from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. These are “native copper” pieces that are found in the ground and water of this glacial area.
We have copper nuggets in varying sizes, as noted; and small copper pieces available singly or collected in a 1″ square clear box.
These copper pieces are considered copper float. Copper Float is copper that was either separated from, or sheared off, the vein by glaciers and deposited elsewhere.
This copper comes from the Western Portion of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan – an area known as Copper County. The copper here is so easily available that it has been mined for thousands of years, and tools and artifacts have been discovered that some alternative archaeologists date back to Phoenician and Atlantean times. Mining by Native Americans occurred beginning at least some 5000 years ago and European explorers picked it up again in the 1600s.
Copper Healing Properties
Copper helps increase energy and warms people who tend to feel cold and damp. Copper helps with metabolic stabilization and is one of the minerals that cannot be produced inside the body; it needs to be supplied from an outside source. Copper is one of the great healing minerals and is often used in jewelry to help relieve the pain of arthritis and bursitis. Crystal Life carries copper bracelets of many types.
Copper Metaphysical Properties
Copper is an energy conductor that works well to ground information of many sorts. It pulls in energy from higher realms and distributes it on the cellular level. That is why it so useful in various electrical circuitry – and also for the circuitry of the physical body. Copper Crystals can be seen as interconnected memory chips that help the body remember its own innate interconnectivity, stimulating a healthy flow of energy.

Copper is used with people’s energy similar to how it’s used in electrical work. It gets the energy moving. This makes it good for people like me with various joint and movement issues, like arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. I use it for my hip, back and neck in the form of a raw piece and bracelet to help my hands in various art projects. ~ Emily
