The name sulphur means “to burn” in Latin.
Sulphur is well-known for its distinct “rotten egg” smell.
Alchemists and other spiritual practicioners would burn sulfur as incense, believing its smell could fend off evil spirits.
Geology
Sulphur is known for being light and somewhat brittle. It is a soft stone that is easily melted or dissolved. This stone is found in Indonesia, Japan, and Chile.

Care
You can place this stone in full moon moonlight to energize. It can also be moved through sage smoke or incense, placed in rice, or buried in the earth over night.
