When constructing a crystal grid you are creating lines that connect in every which way, whether you’re aware of it or not. These invisible lines are crucial to the functionality of the layout – they are the strings that tie it all together, the part that connects and blends the energies together.
If there are certain stones in your grid you want to accentuate, Double Terminated Quartz would be a valuable tool to add. You can set them in between the crystals you wish to connect, thus amplifying and strengthening their bond. Double Terminated Quartz allow the energy to flow in a non-polarized manner, meaning it flows both ways.
If the sides of your grid are closed it would be wise to place a Double Terminated Quartz perpendicular to the perimeter. In other words, break the line and have the points of the quartz sticking out of the outer most line. Why? Doing this creates a doorway, a passage for the energy to flow in and out of your grid at will. If your grid has a solid line all the way around it the energy will become stagnant.
Energy has consciousness and like all of us, it has a list of purposes it needs to complete. Sealing a grid is essentially trapping energy inside a confined area and forcing it to do your will. Rather than doing that, we should work cooperatively with the energies. Creating a grid and working with crystals is about joining forces and working together in balance.
