 Dowsing for Information
We've just come back from the annual American Society of Dowsers convention in Vermont. This venerable organization teaches ordinary people how to test for themselves the energy components of their everyday lives. The process is called dowsing, or divining. This is the focus of our issue...how you can acquire information via dowsing.
At the convention, new officers were voted on and installed. We are very, very pleased that Atala Toy, of Crystal Life, now has the opportunity to serve the ASD as the new Executive Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 Pendulums and Rods
You can use anything to dowse. In fact, at ASD we start folks out using a bolt on a string, just so they know this is so.
But, let's face it, every field has its evolving technology, and the same is true with pendulums. So on our site you can purchase beautiful quartz pendulums for soft healing work, handcrafted brass pendulums from an old time oil dowser, and state of the art European brass specialty pendulums. These specialty items include several varieties of witness pendulums and distant healing items. We also have a wonderful collection of basic rods, half of the funds going to support Water for Humanity, an ASD project that takes accomplished volunteer dowsers to South America and Africa, helping people locate potable water in these harsh conditions.

 Learn to Dowse
So, now you want to learn for yourself. Well, you have a number of options. You can visit the dowsers website, www.dowsers.org, which has an on-line bookstore that has the widest collection of books for sale on dowsing anywhere in the States. You'll also find a listing of local ASD chapters; there may be one near you. These chapters frequently teach dowsing and bring in speakers on various aspects of the dowsing world.
You can stop by our Crystal Life website, where we have posted, as a dowsing service, a free download of the classic manual on dowsing, Letter to Robin, written by the revered dowsing elder Walt Wood (shown here). Lastly, you missed our annual ASD convention in Vermont, but there's still time to sign up for the Southwest Regional Conference on Dowsing, being held in Flagstaff this October 5 - 7. Over several days of talks and workshops, you can learn beginning to advanced dowsing techniques, and hang out with some expert dowsers from all over the world.

 Advanced Body Dowsing
Okay, so you know how to dowse. Eventually you will move from using an external instrument to using your own body as the instrument. And from there it is only another simple step to learning to communicate with the energies you are seeking. That's called interdimensional communication. A lot of energy workers now adays are moving into this new modality. Atala's on her way to a new book on the topic, and currently you can purchase any of the five sections via the website.
