ISIC – Vesica Balance Grid

For this grid, the intention was to create a tool that could aid in balancing the body’s various systems. The endocrine and lymphatic systems both run throughout the human body either releasing hormones or recycling blood plasma. The duties of these systems are far more complex than this synopsis. However, for the purpose of this blog, it is most important to understand that they play a large role in regulating your daily life.

With a specific physical target, I find it most appropriate to reference a crystal guide like “Crystal Prescriptions” by Judy Hall. The stones listed for the endocrine system that were decided to be most applicable were Fire Agate, Amber, Amethyst, Citrine, Yellow Jasper, Peridot, and Tourmaline. Tourmaline is also listed for the lymphatic system along with Moss Agate, and Blue Chalcedony. There are other appropriate stones, however these are the ones that intuitively “stuck out.” Blue Kyanite also wanted to be included in the group, as it very nicely clears energetic pathways.

As with most grids, there are different components which serve separate functions to complete the greater, complete function. Not only can crystals be used to map out the energies, but also other various items such as Slim Spurling Rings. Here there are two rings overlaid to create a Vesica Pisces. This works to achieve a couple of goals. First, the Vesica design offers an opportunity to analyze each of our sides, masculine and feminine. It then allows us to see our in-between parts, the places where our two sides mesh together. In this situation, with the directional aid of a few Clear Quartz Points, the Vesica is also being used as a figure eight infinity symbol. This creates a constant and balanced flow of energies. Standing with a foot within each side of the Vesica Pisces, the crystal energies follow the programed patterns (Vesica and Infinity) up, throughout, and back down your body and energy field.

Experiment with logical placements and patterns, and also with intuition and aesthetics. The more beautiful the crystal layout, all the more it will resonate and become beneficial.

Cosmic Portal – Moving Outdoors Again

1. Talk to all the life forms in your yard. Everything in your yard is made of consciousness; it is aware and responds to basic universal energies such as love, and requests to contain one’s energy or to leave an area. So walk around your yard now and REALLY look at its energy. Talk to the insects, birds, plants and trees – send them loving energy. Request harmful energies to please realign, contain or remove themselves. Trees and plants love to know they are appreciated, and will grow better when you send them loving thoughts. An old dowsing tip: if you have invaders such as carpenter ants, select a part of the yard they can live in. Then connect to their energy and let them know they must move there within a week, because you need to spray/protect the house area; they now have the free will to move or suffer the consequences.

2. Introduce items that will enrich the natural energy of your yard. The simplest? Bury a piece of quartz near a plant or area of your yard that needs to be rebalanced. Before you do – program it – that is the great gift of quartz, it can be programmed to hold an energy or thought. So place the thought in the crystal that it will restore to balance and optimize the energy of this area of the yard. Other helpful stones , applying homeopathic protocols of like assisting like, are moss agate (in areas where you want to gentle down the energy) and tree agate (where trees need a bit of a boost).

3. Crystal Catalyst ceramic beads are great for placing in plants – houseplants as well as outdoors – as they are resonant tools that clear energy and enhance beneficial energies. The cobalt blue bead is excellent for general all around health, the turquoise bead for gentler plants. If you have one of our pieces of energy jewelry now well worn, you can return the entire piece of jewelry to the earth in your yard, with wonderful results.

4. Slim Spurling copper rings are powerful sacred geometry tools for providing very healthy, balanced energy to seedlings. The rings are specially constructed even though they look simple and generate a standing wave of healthy balanced energy inside the circle. You can also place them around an ailing plant – just drop it over the plant, it should rest on top of the earth.

5. The hardest case scenarios do well with a Slim Spurling Environmental Harmonizer. If you have powerlines nearby, cell phone towers, a lot of local traffic, plants that need energizing on a large piece of property or a farm – this is the very best tool for you to invest in!

6. And…lastly…for those who have neighbors with whom you are not enjoying pleasant relations: we suggest hanging a simple bagua mirror on the side of your home facing their property. The bagua is an ancient feng shui remedy; it generates a steady, non-fluctuating field of positive energy that helps everything and everyone in its path to be more positive in their energy!

ISIC – Grid for Boundaries and Abundance

As we go into the New Year, it is important to maintain clear boundaries in order to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. This is a crystal grid to create a healthy balance between offering help and receiving prosperity.

In this grid there are several shapes working together. The outer most Merkabah is composed of Tiger’s Eye (the upward facing triangle), and Citrine (the downward facing triangle); between each of these are Clear Quartz points. There is a small merkabah made completely of Ruby, and in the center there is a Fuchsite specimen.

Tiger’s Eye is a grounding, protective stone. It also assists in reaching goals by showing you your own available resources. It helps you to pull together scattered details in order to complete a whole. Tiger’s eye opens the users eyes to their own needs as well as the needs of others.

Citrine is a great cleanser and energizer. It attracts prosperity, success, and abundance of all things good. Citrine helps to analyze a given situation, and increases self-esteem. Many people who require professional aid are full of sadness, citrine can offer your clients a bit of sunshine.

Ruby increases drive and motivation. It stimulates and balances the heart. When working as a practitioner it is important to establish boundaries, defining your energy from your clients. Ruby protects the Heart Chakra from being drained in these situations. Also a stone of abundance, ruby helps to maintain wealth and passion for life and pulls negativity to the surface in order for it to be transmuted.

Fuchsite offers insight on relationships with other people. When in “Doctor Mode,” it helps to channel the most efficient holistic remedy. Fuchsite makes it easier to access knowledge regarding health matters and overall well-being. It works to reverse martyrdom, releasing the need to offer everything possible even when doing so compromises healthy balance. Fuchsite helps us to stand by and allow others to learn the lessons that they need to experience.

Finally, Clear Quartz points outward connecting all of the different levels of this grid. The points allow energy to freely flow in and out. It amplifies the energies of the other stones present in the grid, making each of them more affective. Quartz knows when and how to adjust to the vibrational level of the person needing healing, then tuning the persons energy back into it’s most perfect state.

Grandfather Buffalo – What Did I Just Read?

How many times have you read a book, article, or essay and left not really understanding much of what you have read? Often I find myself in a fog after reading something and I ask myself, “What am I missing here.”

My reaction is to set aside that book or article for a period of time, and after a day or so start another book that requires no deep thought. This new book helps to clear the mind. While reading, I will come across a paragraph, sentence, or phrase that clarifies the other book.

Recently I began experimenting with wearing or holding a clear quartz crystal while reading. I find this helps to clarify what I am reading as well as retaining the information.

Let me explain the process, and then you may experiment with it also. First you will need a quartz crystal. This crystal does not have to be perfect. Do not worry about it being opaque, cloudy, chipped, or any other abnormalities.

Collect several quartz pieces (three or four), and set them in front of you. With a hand over each one or with a pendulum, ask which quartz point will work with you to bring clarity of thought and to recall what you are reading. You will only need one so be sure the chosen one is the most beneficial for your purpose.

Here is how to program (inspire) your crystal:

Hold the crystal in your left hand. Focus your intent of clarity and recall upon the crystal for two to three minutes. When you begin to feel a field building up around the quartz piece know that the intent is taking hold. When you are confident that the intent is there within the crystal, then go to the final step.

Blow three times upon your crystal. This will seal the intent into it for a twenty-eight day period or cycle.

Now find a quiet place to read your book while holding or wearing your crystal. Do not think about whether you are understanding the book or whether the crystal is working. At a good stopping point, set the book and crystal aside, and go do something else; fix something to eat, mow the lawn, etc. Allow whatever information you have read to come into your thoughts. Is there clarity and understanding? Again, do not analyze, just let the thoughts flow and recall what you have read.

Continue with the process. The more you do it, the easier it will become and the more you will know.

Grandfather Buffalo – The Five Master Crystals

There are, perhaps, many master quartz crystals. We will be talking about five of them. They are amethyst, smokey quartz, citrine, rose quartz, and clear quartz. While they are all quartz, they will have many basic qualities as well as specific qualities for each one. We will discuss these properties as well as ways to use them.

Amethyst

Traditionally used to ward off drunkenness, to assist in releasing repetitive issues such as obsessive compulsive, drinking, addictions, etc., amethyst may be used as a dream stone to assist with insomnia as well as to recall dreams. It works to relieve headaches and migraines. An aid against self deception, feelings of guilt, or fearfulness. It helps one to heal emotionally and to achieve emotional stability.

A spiritual stone, Amethyst assists one in connecting to source, or higher consciousness. A stone for achieving spiritual wisdom, and/or inner wisdom on a deep level. Amethyst is an excellent stone for meditation as it helps in focusing the practice.

An excellent stone for healing, folk lure states healing problems with the blood or with the breathing process. It also clears negativity in the home.

Smokey Quartz

Helps to provide the ability to move forward under stress or emotional turmoil. Smokey Quartz assists you to be more aware of sound and it’s affects on you. It emotionally elevates moods and mood swings, transmuting those negative emotions. Relieves stress, fear, jealousy, and anger. In meditation, it helps one to reach higher states of wisdom. Physically, Smokey Quartz assists with all lower body issues and organs. It removes toxins as well as assisting with ADD and hyperactivity.

Citrine

Called the “Success Stone”, citrine promotes success, prosperity, and abundance by aiding in manifesting one’s desires and hopes. Citrine dissipates negativity of all kinds and on all levels, clearing those unwanted energies. It enhances mental clarity, confidence, will power, and creativity.

Emotionally, citrine relieves depression, self doubt, anger, and mood swings. Physically, it helps with digestion, the stomach, nightmares, and the removal of toxins. It also brings awareness, clears the aura of negativity, and provides protection. It is an excellent dream stone, and assists in dream recall.

Rose Quartz

The “Unconditional Love Stone” opens the heart to all forms of love. It provides the link to the “Heart Mind.” Emotionally, rose quartz provides gentleness in the area of forgiveness, compassion, and kindness, it also enhances tolerance for others. Rose quartz raises self esteem and self worth. It balances the emotions and related wounds, removing the fear, grief, and anger.

Physically, rose quartz attracts love and relationship stability. It eases the transition process for self and others on all levels. An excellent stone for dream work and dream recall.

Clear Quartz

Clear quartz enhances energy on all levels. It absorbs, stores, and amplifies energy. It assists in enhancing the thought process. An excellent stone for meditation, manifesting, healing, and providing protection. By its nature, it is a stone that may be programmed for specific uses.

Clear quartz works to balance and harmonize the environment. It will clear, energize, and amplify other crystals. A stone of clarity, it dispels negativity and negative energies. Clear quartz will act to purify and clarify mental activity on all levels, enhancing spiritual growth and wisdom. Clear quartz is an excellent stone for studying as all as for retaining what one has learned.

Physically, clear quartz is a power stone that protects one from negative energies. It assists in clearly connecting to spirit guides or other entities. Excellent for dreaming and dream recall. It also provides access to ancient wisdom.

An all purpose master healer, clear quartz amplifies healing energies, draws out pain, and fortifies and strengthens healing work on all levels.

One may use these in a Medicine Wheel Pattern:

East – Beginning – Morning- Spring – Eagle

South – Growth – Noon – Summer – Wolf

West – Elder – Evening – Autumn – Bear

North – Wisdom – Midnight – Winter – Buffalo

Use the five Master crystals in any position of the wheel that you intuit.

You may also try them in a pathway, in a straight line.

ISIC – Three Stone Elixir

Here is an interesting three-stone combination to be used as a gem elixir. The intention of this is to create a tonic which healers (professional and non-professional) can use to amplify their abilities, neutralize negativity, and to open up higher levels of consciousness.

The first ingredient is a Herkimer Diamond, which is really a quartz. Herkimers energize and enliven the body, while stimulating psychic abilities. They offer a link to higher guidance, and attune the consciousness to the highest spiritual levels. A herkimer diamond clears the chakras and opens up channels for spiritual energy to flow. It allows for a gentle release, which leads to transformation and the identification of the soul’s purpose. Using a herkimer diamond in a healing session can clear EMFs and radioactivity, detoxify the body, eliminate stress and tension.

The second stone of this elixir is Smokey Quartz. While it works to ground and anchor, it also works to raise your vibration. Considered to be an antidote to stress, smokey quartz helps to maintain equanimity. It gently neutralizes negative energies, filling the space with positivity. A detoxifier, it helps to let go of things like fear and depression that no longer serve a purpose. Smokey quartz promotes concentration and resolves issues in communication.

Finally Golden (yellow) Labradorite is added to the mix. This could be substituted with regular Labradorite, if needed. It is a bearer of light, raising consciousness, and deflecting unwanted energies away from the aura. When doing any sort of healing work, labradorite forms a barrier between healer and the energies that the client may release. When used personally, it offers a link to esoteric knowledge, and aligns the physical and etheric bodies. In addition to the herkimer diamond, golden labradorite also helps to access one’s spiritual purpose. It also amplifies psychic abilities. Banishing fear and insecurities, labradorite restores faith in the self and trust in the will of the Universe. It dispels illusions by going to the root of an issue and revealing the truth behind related thoughts and actions. A stone of transformation, golden labradorite contacts the highest levels of consciousness, bringing in higher wisdom. It amplifies visualizations, clairvoyance, and channeling.

ISIC – Consciousness Studies Grid

Embarking upon the spiritual journey is an exciting adventure. The quest for consciousness can sometimes also be a lot to take in. This grid is designed to ease stress and to optimize your capacity to absorb the many truths that surface while “on the path”. It offers an opportunity to relax and assimilate, perhaps in a meditation or while reading.

The stones are laid in the formation of a Merkabah within a Merkabah. This creates a solid, and balanced energy flow. Placed around the stones is a Slim Spurling Ring, in order to keep the space clear and energized.

The Aragonite serves as a base for the upward pointing triangle of the outer Merkabah. It encourages discipline and concentration while helping you to ground and center. At the point of this triangle stands Lapis Lazuli. This is one of the great Third Eye Chakra stones. It releases stress from your field which allows you to obtain a sense of serenity. This combined with its quality to bring objectivity and deep self-knowledge is the key to spiritual attainment. The downward facing triangle of the outer Merkabah is composed of Copper and Quartz. Copper stimulates initiative and philosophical energy. As well as Clear Quartz, Copper is exceptionally conducive of present energies and amplifies them. In this arrangement, the Quartz Points filter out distractions and unblock any energies that may need to be moved.

The inner Merkabah is simply made of Magnesite, which brings a deep peace in meditation, harmonizes the hemispheres of the brain, and calms stress.

The final addition to this grid is a Clear Quartz, four-sided pyramid. Pyramids are used to enhance and focus energy. Here, it is being utilized to send the energies of the layout up into the seat of the user.

All of these pieces create a peaceful atmosphere where it is more easily possible not only to push our self-imposed limits, but to be able to go far beyond them.

Staff Speak- Crown Chakra Stones

Connection to spirit, oneness with god, and illumination are all aspects of the crown chakra. Also known as the seventh chakra, it is located in the center of the top of the head. A clear and balanced crown chakra allows one to be in constant connection with universal energy. The following are stones to help clear, balance, and awaken this chakra:

White Onyx: Helps you to be in full mastery of your own energy, to discern and align with universal energies.

White Agate: Grounds spiritual energy

Apophylite: a powerful vibrational transmitter of energy. Creates a conscious connection between physical and spiritual realms.

Clear Quartz: balances, clears, and energizes this chakra.

ISIC – Reiki Boost Grid

Creating grids is something that can be very enjoyable, and is certainly an effective way to do energy work.

This particular grid is composed of various crystals that can amplify and assist Reiki energy. The goal here is to have an easily accessible ‘station’ where it is possible to receive a quick clearing and boost of energy. In this arrangement there is an area to place each of the hands. This is where the Reiki is transferred from the grid to your person. In the case that you are not attuned to Reiki, it is still possible to utilize this grid concept. Ask your guides, as well as any available Reiki guide, to assist you in activating and directing the desired energy flow. If you already are a Reiki practitioner, use the Distance Healing symbol as well as asking your guides for assistance.

The main crystals included here are Apophylite to increase Reiki flow, Aragonite to ground high vibrational energies, Blue Kyanite to clear and align the body’s meridians, and Clear Quartz to amplify the Reiki and to balance any discordant energies. While there are other stones in this grid (Amethyst, Yellow Calcite, Citrine, Specular Hematite, Lithium and Rutilated Quartz, and Black Tourmaline), the four previously listed are the staples. When gridding, it is most beneficial to “make it your own”. Use stones that you are guided to use, or whichever make the most sense to you at the time.

All parts of this arrangement serve both a separate purpose and are also a part of a larger function. The straight line running from top to bottom signifies the central channel that flows through each of us, connecting to both the Earth and Source. The outer structure of the grid is a circle. The circle creates a sacred space, or Merkabah (where there’s a 2D circle, there is a 3D sphere), in which it is appropriate to place and conducive to the light patterns being crafted. The Large Quartz points are being utilized to direct the flow of Reiki and Crystal energies. The four carved Aventurine Reiki Stones surround the grid and offer both the properties of the stone type and each of the Reiki symbols.

Finally, notice the outward facing tiny Quartz points at each of the four directions. These are simply serving as doorways. When any sort of energetic grid is created, different energies are being gathered and locked into specific desired positions. As beneficial as this appears on the surface, the gridder must not tack the energies down. Rather, through the use of an open path, allow them to flow as freely as they wish, as everything in the Universe has consciousness and the right of free will. The energies are not there to be controlled. This is the foundation of the Interdimensional work we are constantly engaged in. We are to remain laterally cooperative, and should resist taking on hierarchical roles. In the case of this Reiki grid, these gateways allow for the obsolete energies to move out and return to Source, while creating space for the new energies to flow in.

With intention, this grid can provide a variety of uses. The original purpose was to offer a place where Reiki could be received by those in need. As I write, I realize that this grid may also be beneficial for the practitioner. Perhaps it can be used to establish an immediate connection to the Reiki vibration, or maybe a water bowl of sorts to perform a quick cleanse after a session with a client. The possibilities are seemingly endless. The most important part is to remember to have to have fun, and to follow your intuition.

Grandfather Buffalo – Hematite in Quartz

Hematite itself is a very efficient stone to have in one’s tool box. I have often said if it is the only one you can find, it’s all you need. Hematite provides protection on all levels – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As it is a grounding stone, it will assist you in being in the body, focused and centered mentally as well as giving you confidence to overcome any limitations created by yourself or others.

When combined (included) in quartz, it will form in several ways. One way involves hematite in its gray form, either attached to the quartz, or covered entirely by the quartz. When in this form, the piece appears heavier in hand. You might call this form “The General” as it is definitely one to take action. This type is often preferred over the second type we will discuss.

Hematite, in many quartz pieces, shows up as a red powder in the included quartz. In this way, your quartz piece will have an all over red appearance, or it may be flecked with the red powder. This type of hematite included quartz is much more gentle when you are using it. Here it acts as the supportive friend, with the question “How may I help you to balance your need.”

There will be times when you will need either one of these quartz pieces. The General, who takes action immediately, or The Supporter who tends to negotiate the situation to a very successful conclusion. The quartz in this, as well as in any other included mineral, acts as an enhancer of the overall energy presented by the piece.

I would suggest that when you are checking out any stone that you also connect with the Elemental of the stones or quartz pieces. As I am sitting here with the types of hematite in quartz, I am feeling happy, balanced, and confident.
