ISIC – Grid for Boundaries and Abundance

As we go into the New Year, it is important to maintain clear boundaries in order to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. This is a crystal grid to create a healthy balance between offering help and receiving prosperity.

In this grid there are several shapes working together. The outer most Merkabah is composed of Tiger’s Eye (the upward facing triangle), and Citrine (the downward facing triangle); between each of these are Clear Quartz points. There is a small merkabah made completely of Ruby, and in the center there is a Fuchsite specimen.

Tiger’s Eye is a grounding, protective stone. It also assists in reaching goals by showing you your own available resources. It helps you to pull together scattered details in order to complete a whole. Tiger’s eye opens the users eyes to their own needs as well as the needs of others.

Citrine is a great cleanser and energizer. It attracts prosperity, success, and abundance of all things good. Citrine helps to analyze a given situation, and increases self-esteem. Many people who require professional aid are full of sadness, citrine can offer your clients a bit of sunshine.

Ruby increases drive and motivation. It stimulates and balances the heart. When working as a practitioner it is important to establish boundaries, defining your energy from your clients. Ruby protects the Heart Chakra from being drained in these situations. Also a stone of abundance, ruby helps to maintain wealth and passion for life and pulls negativity to the surface in order for it to be transmuted.

Fuchsite offers insight on relationships with other people. When in “Doctor Mode,” it helps to channel the most efficient holistic remedy. Fuchsite makes it easier to access knowledge regarding health matters and overall well-being. It works to reverse martyrdom, releasing the need to offer everything possible even when doing so compromises healthy balance. Fuchsite helps us to stand by and allow others to learn the lessons that they need to experience.

Finally, Clear Quartz points outward connecting all of the different levels of this grid. The points allow energy to freely flow in and out. It amplifies the energies of the other stones present in the grid, making each of them more affective. Quartz knows when and how to adjust to the vibrational level of the person needing healing, then tuning the persons energy back into it’s most perfect state.

As a practitioner, the issues of your clientele are obviously going to vary. The tools and information required to help them along will depend on their needs. Working with crystals is not an exception. Each crystal has a list of properties, and they are not always going to apply to the work you are doing. On the other hand, there are stones that just about everyone can use. Here are three stones have been found to be of assistance in any situation.

Firstly, let review Selenite and it’s uses. This crystal brings down the purest of white light energies. It works with the Crown Chakra and other higher Crown Chakras, offering peace and higher access to a higher consciousness. Selenite is fossilized salt water, so it can work to purify a nearby water table, or correct the flow of a vortex created by underground water in motion. The high frequency at which selenite resonates will dissolve any negativity in the energy field. This can easily be achieved by using it to “comb” the aura. It also will help to align the spinal column when placed along the vertebrae.

Blue Kyanite is another great stone with an energy that everyone can use. Like selenite, it does not require clearing. These two crystals also connect the light-body to the physical body, grounding higher consciousness and high vibrations. Each person has energy blockages, and kyanite breaks right through them. It aligns and clears the meridians, chakras, and subtle bodies. It also relieves physical pain. Being a Throat Chakra stone, blue kyanite opens the throat, assisting in self-expression and cutting through fears that reside in this area. Additionally, kyanite replenishes life force energy, and aids in realizing the cause of any issue.

Finally, Black Tourmaline completes this trio. Tourmaline has the ability to purify and transform dense, imbalanced energy into lighter, high vibrational energy. When it is actively working in the energy field, negativity passes through rather than sticking to the aura. This allows the user to learn from a negative situation, but not to be directly affected by it. Black tourmaline also removes blockages, connects the chakras, and balances the meridians. Being a Root Chakra stone, it helps to understand yourself as well as others. It increases vitality, and offers a clear thought process. Black tourmaline is also a great tool for alleviating the effects of EMF pollution.

In the above photo are the three suggestions displayed. The uppermost setup is intended for a work space. This could be your office, home, or business. If you have a practice that requires that your client lay down, this would be perfect underneath the table. The large specimens reach out, covering a moderately vast area. On the bottom left, there is a pocket size version of the three stones. This could be placed in a pouch to wear, carried with you, or maybe on a desk. If you are the crafty type, I recommended trying to replicate the item on the bottom right. This is a wand, and originally where this triad comes from. The selenite has a fine point, a surgical point if you will. The kyanite lays on the side assisting the selenite in removing blockages. The black tourmaline is on the end of the wand, placed to protect the healer from any negative energies that the client may be releasing. If you choose to do this, copper wire, leather, and silk are all great ways to hold stones together. A little Gorilla Glue wouldn’t hurt either. Have fun!

Grandfather Buffalo – Hematite in Quartz

Hematite itself is a very efficient stone to have in one’s tool box. I have often said if it is the only one you can find, it’s all you need. Hematite provides protection on all levels – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As it is a grounding stone, it will assist you in being in the body, focused and centered mentally as well as giving you confidence to overcome any limitations created by yourself or others.

When combined (included) in quartz, it will form in several ways. One way involves hematite in its gray form, either attached to the quartz, or covered entirely by the quartz. When in this form, the piece appears heavier in hand. You might call this form “The General” as it is definitely one to take action. This type is often preferred over the second type we will discuss.

Hematite, in many quartz pieces, shows up as a red powder in the included quartz. In this way, your quartz piece will have an all over red appearance, or it may be flecked with the red powder. This type of hematite included quartz is much more gentle when you are using it. Here it acts as the supportive friend, with the question “How may I help you to balance your need.”

There will be times when you will need either one of these quartz pieces. The General, who takes action immediately, or The Supporter who tends to negotiate the situation to a very successful conclusion. The quartz in this, as well as in any other included mineral, acts as an enhancer of the overall energy presented by the piece.

I would suggest that when you are checking out any stone that you also connect with the Elemental of the stones or quartz pieces. As I am sitting here with the types of hematite in quartz, I am feeling happy, balanced, and confident.

Staff Speak~How to Protect With Crystals and Photos

We parents sometimes experience feelings of helplessness when our children are away from us. For some, the separation is for a short period of time. However, for others, it may be distance as well as a lengthy period of time. We love our children, and we want to do everything possible to protect them, and keep them safe.

When my teen-age son moved to California – his first lengthy stay away from the family – I was very concerned. Not only was he 2000 miles away from home, he was nowhere near any of our family. My personal solution? I did a lot of praying, seeking for a way to protect him. I said prayers of protection every night, and I took a photograph of him and placed it in a crystal grid.

To begin this technique, I prayed and set my intentions for his highest and greatest good. It is very important to have your child’s best interest at hand, not your own. I chose the crystals that came forward, pulsating with the energy to protect him, and I put them around his photograph. The crystals that I chose were: Apophyllite, Blue Lace Agate, Celestite, Galena, Garnet, Howlite, Jet, Moonstone, and Rose Quartz. Please keep in mind that these stones came forward specifically to meet his needs, to protect him.

I have learned that sometimes it is better to let your intuition choose the crystals, rather than using a book to pick them out. I chose crystals who energetically came forward in answer to my prayers. Afterwards, I researched the attributes of the crystals using “The Crystal Bible,” and was astounded at the accuracy. Letting go of your own control, and trusting in your higher power, is an amazing lesson.

We know that quartz conducts heat or electric impulse. That it is programmable, that is we can put an intent into it. Quartz also acts to enhance the energies of other stones or that which is included in it.

When we find Hematite Included Quartz we naturally assume that it will increase the energy intent of the Hematite. Knowing that both the Quartz and Hematite are both protective we can be assured that energy is a higher vibration and will assist in repelling the negative or discordant energies that come at us. Because of Hematite’s nature, we can become even more grounded and focused because of this combination.

Have you ever had one of those low points when you find yourself at the bottom with what looks like no way out? This stone will lift you up and out of that state, supporting in a positive way. This piece can be found with the Hematite stone itself embedded or included within. It can also be found as Quartz with a red tint or the powdered inclusion.

Gridding is the placement of crystal or gemstones around a building, property, person, or object for protection or various other purposes. The process may also be used for ideas or objectives, in fact, for any purpose.

If you think about grids you may include the Native American medicine wheel, Stone Henge, or any other large scale setting up of stones in that process. For our purpose, we are going to discuss smaller scale grids.

One approach you may use is to have your chosen crystals or gemstones and a base to put them on. You may align them in any pattern, circular, square, crossed lines, etc. with one in a central position. Energetically connect each stone to the other with your intent, thus activating the energies. You may place crystals or gemstones at the four corners of your property, your house, or a room.

When searching for a partner or a relationship, choose the appropriate stones, a base (ie. wood), and a piece of paper with your intent or desires of the relationship. Activate the grid and let the energy and the universe work for you.

When people come in the store knowing that they need “something” but don’t know what or where to start, there are a couple ways to choose: ask one of us for direction, go to our vast reference shelf to look up your scenario, or walk around the store looking over all the stones and see what speaks to you.

Whether one is new to the world of crystals or an old friend, sometimes some advice and a couple of choices is what you need. Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help you find the right crystal for your needs. Tell them what you are looking for in a crystal and they can lead you to some choices.

Another way to figure out what crystal is for you, is to check out one of many crystal reference books we have on the bookshelf in the back of the store. You can look up your problem in the index and find corresponding crystals. A fun and easy way to pick is to pull out the Crystal Bible, think of what you want to work on and open the book. Then read about the stone that you land on. Many times that is the stone that you need.

Lastly, you can walk around the store. Look at everything. Listen and see what is speaking to you. Is anything “jumping out at” you? Is a crystal literally lighting up before your eyes? Those are some of the ways crystals try to get our attention. They want to work with us and are trying to tell us just that. Once you find one that is speaking to you, go to the reference shelf and read about it. It always fascinates people that part of the description fits what you are looking for.
