ISIC – Flowing with the Solar Flares

Many of us at Crystal Life have found ourselves being pulled in all sorts of directions due to the solar flares that are occurring this year. While we understand that these flares bring up emotional and behavioral issues that must be addressed, it can be both difficult and pressing at times yet with an end result that is very beneficial and for the better good. Working through these emotional and behavioral blocks is a lesson in itself to remain centered through all of these changes.

This is a merkabah grid, designed by Tammy and myself, to help ease this process of change and growth.

Here’s what you’ll need:

(1) Malachite

(6) Unakite

(6) Yellow Calcite

Malachite is the center piece for this layout. Malachite works to ground spiritual energy to the earth. When we are experiencing stress, malachite absorbs negativity while it harmonizes and balances. Also an aid in transformation, it assists in being receptive to insight from your subconscious. From there it is easier to see what is blocking your spiritual growth by getting to the core of the problem.

A Merkabah is an energy field which can be two dimensionally displayed by intersecting two opposite facing equilateral triangles (3-sided pyramids if you are working on three dimensions). A Merkabah is the complete balance of duality, light and dark. There are two complete Merkabahs being utilized as the structure of this grid. The inner-most composed of unakite, while the outer being yellow calcite.

Unakite offers a calm and gentle energy, which is crucial to maintain in your energy field at this time. Much like the malachite in this case, unakite integrates light into the field revealing insights regarding said blockages. It helps to uncover the root cause of any dis-ease and allows it to surface in order for the user to create change and transformation in their life.

Yellow Calcite clears the personal field as well as the environment with the purity and power of our sun. Growth and development are accelerated when using this stone. Using yellow calcite alleviates emotional stress, and connects the emotions with the intellect. When this is achieved, a greater sense of emotional intelligence is attainable. The light in this crystal helps to overcome setbacks, which is what many of us may perceive to be happening with these life changes. Then we may understand that set backs are really stepping stones for another reality.

The entire earth is currently experiencing these shifts, so I highly suggest the use of this grid in efforts to better the ability to flow in these times of great change. While a grid is ideal because it will work with an entire space, it would be advisable to at least carry this three-stone combination in your pocket or medicine bag. Most of all, remember that life is beautiful. Even the bumpy parts serve a beautiful divine purpose.

Grandfather Buffalo~Sacred Circles, Medicine Wheels, & Merkabas

If we were to look into our human past, we would find the circle has always been in use from the very earliest days. We first find the fire pit or the circle around which early humans, after discovering fire, gathered around to eat and then for story telling or council fires.

Some of the old world cultures created areas such as Stonehenge or the Avebury Henge. Some have built pyramidal temples or stargazing sites. These are speculated to have been used to determine the solstices and other events by the placement of known stars. Other possible uses have been speculated upon as well.

When doing ceremony, the circle has been an important aspect of the occasion. It represents communication, the continuous process and also is a containment area for the sacred work. The indigenous of the Americas might perhaps lay a salt or cornmeal circle in which work would be done. Others would call upon the elements, directions, angels, or symbols, to create their space.

The Native American Medicine Wheel is a great example and perhaps one we would be more familiar with. Note it is not a wheel in the Native American mind, as there was no word for wheel in their language. The concept would have been labeled a medicine hoop. This would involve the use of stones in the shape of a wheel. The stones would have been placed in the four directions with a center stone or fire pit. Other stones would have been added around the edge and a series of four paths or spokes from the cardinal points to the center with perhaps an inner or moon circle. You would have either five stones or as many as you would like. Each stone would then have a meaning or animal connected to it. The Medicine Wheel would be used in meditation or in the creation of energies directed to a specific purpose. Note also that it is not a flat hoop, but  encompasses all directions: North, South, East, West, above, and below. In effect, a bubble. Each of the preceding situations may also be described as a Merkaba, a vehicle in which sacred work may be done.

Now we move to the most sacred circle, wheel, and merkaba. Your personal field of energy which surrounds you, and your chakras. All that may be done with what we have already discussed may be done within this Merkabic field. When we discussed world peace we spoke of the need to first have inner peace. In discussing the merkaba fields, we also need to be centered in our own wheels before the outer ones work properly. We also want to consider what we carry in our fields, especially when we are interacting with individuals or a group. As in “Is my field helpful or a hindrance to that important business meeting? Am I bringing peace or disruption?”

Cosmic Portal – Worlds within Worlds

Rocks and trees are living records of the history of our world. They can be examined in so many ways, to learn about the world and the universe.

Examining the trunk of a tree can produce an awareness of the variety of life forms within this universe. Its shape and images therein reveal what life in other dimensions looks like. Trees stand between the worlds – hence the image of root, trunk and branches representing this bridging that is so popular in many traditions, pagan nature honoring to Kabbalistic esoteric geometry.

In my book We Are Not Alone I discuss how our universe is one huge merkabah, or geometric light form, in which layer upon layer of merkabahs nest and link together. We are ourselves, in our body, a collection of merkabah families joined together in union for a common purpose – our skeletal system, heart, head, hands, feet, and so on, all agreeing to join to sustain this amazing vehicle for spirit, our human body. Our human form is also a part of increasingly larger units – other of our own lifetimes, other of our own “faces” in our soul family as it proceeds through ever higher levels of spirit, and ever less physical form, back to source.

We can see this nesting of form in many images in trees and rocks. I have enclosed two samples here.

This one shows a smiling tree spirit whose right eye is focusing on protecting a piece of land (my brother’s) in northern New Hampshire and whose left or spirit eye is showing the spirit protecting and enfolding the tree spirit’s energy – look upper photo right to see the spirit inside a strong ring of energy – its merkabah, or aura.

This photo shows one of a family of boulders protecting a beautiful and powerful glen that is in Starved Rock State Park, Illinois. It has three images in it, and it requires you adjusting your focus to see all three. There is, at its top left point, a stern, older wise greenman looking out to the left. His image is part of a larger image that covers the top of the boulder, of an ape-like being. The significance of apes as an evolutionary step in our planet’s evolution, and the continued presence of ape spirit, is seen in many rock and tree images. It is one distinct, but not the only, line of evolution present on earth. Beneath the ape head with greenman inside it is another type of image often found in rocks – that of the “familiar” or “vehicle” or “companion” of the key image. Secondary in energy to the key figure, it apparently keeps the key figure company, a companion who serves it in some way. Notice while the spirit companion in the first photo is above, inspiring the main figure; in the second photo the companion is below, facing us directly, flashing its white eyes at us and issuing a warning as it protects the greenman.
