Grandfather Buffalo – Heart Chakra Meditation

As we move beyond the end of the Mayan Calendar and into 2013, hopefully we are noticing that we are each moving at a higher vibration. This is necessitated by the ending of Kali Yuga, the age of darkness, and the Aquarian Age. Everything that we connect with is or should be at a higher frequency.

heart_chakra_green-300x300For those who use a pendulum, here is an exercise for you.

Using the yes/no response and the May I, Can I, Should I questions, connect with your personal frequency. If you do not get or feel a response do this: Very clearly say your name three times (Ex. Gary-Gaaaary-Gaary). How do you feel? Did you feel a change of vibration within you? This is who you are and connects to your personal frequency. Some one with the same name will experience it differently.

Now ask your pendulum (a brass one would be excellent, preferably a Mer-Isis), or what ever you are using, to connect in with this frequency. Ask questions like:

1. Is this my personal frequency?

2. Is it a higher frequency than 6 month ago, 2 months ago?

3. Do I need to focus on raising it higher?

A “yes” to any of these will give evidence of the concept that everything is increasing upward. If, however, the answer is no, then you should spend some time getting to know your personal frequency. Practice connecting to it, and increasing it even higher. You will find that you are more centered and have more clarity in decision making with this process.

The Mer-Isis is an excellent pendulum to connect with your frequency in order to raise it and seal it (have it last for a period of time).

A breathing meditation is also an excellent way to connect and increase your personal frequency.

Here is a short meditation that will help you as well.

Breathe deeply three times and exhale

1. Visualize your Heart Chakra in front of you. Spin it until it is a bright and shiny transparent green.

2. Move into it. Feel yourself relaxing as you move deeper into it’s center.

3. Up ahead of you, you see a pin dot; move toward it. Relax even more, as it increases in size, you see that it is a pink sun with solar flares.

4. Move into it. Allow the Solar Flares to envelope you (there is no heat, only deep relaxing peace).

5. As you enter into the core, you see a meadow and a pathway. Walk down the pathway as it slowly rises up on a  mountain. At the top of the mountain, there are thirteen steps. Climb them, each one more relaxing than the last.

6. At the top you see a Crystal Temple. Go to it. Find the doorway and enter. Observe the room and how it is decorated.

7. Go to the next doorway. Do the same thing. Keep doing this, going from room to room. You notice that each room leads into an upward spiral until you reach the last room.

8. When you open it up, you will notice that it is a room filled with light. You can only see the light. This is your true connection to Source.

9. See a chair just inside. Sit in it and allow it to take you to the center of the room (it may take a while).

10. Now breathe and experience this place. Ask that your frequency be increased. Feel it. Know it.

11. Come out of this room and travel back until you exit the Heart Chakra. Feel your increased frequency. Know that you can reconnect anytime.

teardrop pendulumThis brass teardrop pendulum is an excellent neutral device to use for this exercise. There are a wide variety of pendulums on the Crystal Life website.

ISIC – Finding Peace Within

In this time of change and turmoil, it is important to find peace within ourselves. We need to find and to go this place that is always with us no matter where we are. This place is located deep within our own heart. It is so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and happenings. Sometimes this gets us off-center, making it harder to help those who come to us in need.

peace in chaosAt first it may be difficult for some to find and stay in this peaceful heart-centered space. So to begin with, it is suggested to spend time right when you wake up, training yourself to move from your head and down into you heart. Once at your heart, stay there and feel if there are any issues or emotions that may need to be addressed: things that might need to be cleared in order to delve deeper and find the still peaceful centered-ness.

Take as much time as you need to clear that stuff up in a way that feels right to you. You might continue your waking up exercise with these suggestions: writing it down, energetically clearing it out and sending those feelings to source (because it’s just energy any way), or imagining yourself taking a squeegee and literally clearing the windows of your heart. It does not matter how it is done. Keep in mind that the sooner you are able to clear any uncomfortable feelings from the heart, the sooner you have that mobile place of peace to go to any time you want, no matter where you are!

Centering is now more important than ever. Learning how to be at peace within one’s self will help perpetuate that into the environment. A very helpful tool when first beginning to do this is a stone kept in the pocket. Amazonite is a great one for the job as one of its main functions is to help you find inner peace through outer chaos. Integrate the use of the stone by holding it during your morning training of going into your heart. After a while, just by holding it, you will be able to connect with your heart center quickly. Take time today to find that quiet peaceful place.

Grandfather Buffalo – The Eye of The Heart

There are many ways to see. Every person will see or understand a thought or situation in his or her own way. This will be based upon experiences in life situations. Many other people will see the same issues from a different perspective.

Today as we are approaching December 21st, 2012 of the Mayan count, we are finding many conflicts concerning what we are seeing. Every man or woman says “Do this,” “Do that,” “Go this way,” “Go that way.” Politics are at odds even within the same parties – everyone has the correct solution to the local, national, or international problems.

Perhaps we strive for the One Mind, One Heart solution. Can’t we all just get along? We are all one. The Lakota use the term “Mitakuye Oyasin,” which means “All my relations,” or “We are related”. This implies a relationship with all things, to all things that walk, fly, stand tall, etc. Everything we come into contact with is our relative. Another Lakota term is “Cante Ista” (chahn-tay eesh-tah), “The Eye of the Heart”.

I have spoken several times about living in the heart, so let us look at what that would mean. There are three areas to look at.

1. The Heart

This is not the physical heart, but the heart just to its right in what is called the Central Channel. This is a place of unconditional love and truth. Here resides the Secret Chamber of the Heart, that place which connects one to all things, to Source, to Mother-Father energies, etc. This is who you are and where you need to reside.

2. The Heart Mind

We learn that the mind is in the head. The brain causes the body to function on all levels, many of which we do not have to think about. It allows function as well as thinking. The mind is much larger than the physical brain. We see the actions of many great people and what they have accomplished with their thoughts, ideas, and inspirations.

The Heart Mind is also available to us. When one brings this area into play, he or she activates compassion and non-judgmental thought processes. It is a higher level of thought, not of the I, Me, Mine nature.

3. The Eye of the Heart

The Eye of the Heart allows one to see clearly and distinctly in any area. It allows the individual to see the truth of they are and what it is that they must do to bring wholeness to themselves and to others.

Here is an example. If my animal totem is Hawk, when I connect do I then focus on “A Hawk” to get direction or understanding? No, you focus on “Hawk”, who is all Hawk, the total essence of who and what Hawk is or implies. There are many Hawks, but only one “Hawk”. There are many people, but only one “People”.

Note: As one looks through his or her Eye of the Heart, things may not seem to change, but you will have a greater understanding of the self and be at peace within.

Staff Speak – Heart Chakra

Love, compassion, forgiveness are all qualities found in the heart chakra. Located in the center of the chest, this chakra connects the lower physical chakras with the upper spiritual chakras.  In a balanced chakra system, the heart chakra accepts the purely spiritual information of the upper chakras and translates it into the language of the lower three chakras.  This translation is also true from the lower chakras to the upper chakras.  Given this important role, it is vital to have a healthy, balanced, and clear heart chakra.

We are taught that it is important to love and forgive others since childhood, and that is true.  However, it is most necessary to love all parts of one’s self to truly be able to love another. From that place of love for the self, the love is then able to spread to others.  The following is a list of stones to help with self love, forgiveness, and compassion:

Rose quartz is a stone that can help in all the different areas of the heart chakra.  Wear a rose pendant right over your heart charka to help balance and clear it.

Rhodonite is a great stone to heal old hurts of the heart.  It clears, activates, stimulates and grounds energy in the heart chakra.

Aventurine encourages compassion and empathy.  A good stone for protecting the heart chakra as one is learning to live from the heart.

Green tourmaline clears and opens the heart chakra as it allows one to be more compassionate and patient.

Kunzite connects you to universal love and activates the heart chakra will aligning it with the throat and third eye.  This allows one to speak from the heart about what they see.

Please visit the Crystal Life Technology library for more information on the heart chakra.

Grandfather Buffalo – Walking the Path of the Heart

The evidence suggests that there are many paths of life. The moment we arrive through the process of birth, we have begun a long journey down these pathways before us.

We are influenced by every action or inaction taken on our journey. In fact, everyone we come in contact with will influence where we are on life’s path. The journey is influenced not only by the emotional states of the moment, but by the commands/demands set upon us by friends, family, culture, and society overall.

Some will be timid, fearful, withdrawn, while others will be forceful, overbearing, and extremely demanding about where we are on the Life’s Path.

It has been suggested that if one stays focused and looks straight ahead, walking the line down the middle, he will be okay. They say by doing this, you will miss all the pitfalls that will arise on the highway, that indeed you will not be influenced by the side roads or the other people along the sides.

I would suggest that this seemingly safe road is not safe at all. Yes, you are assured of reaching the end, but at what cost to your health or psyche. If we look at a map or map quest to find how to get from here to there, it often is not a straight path. We are told once we are on the street in front of your house to go one block, turn left, go 500 feet, turn right, then go 2 miles, etc., until you reach your destination. These directions are often circuitous, and miles out of the way, and so is the straight path of life we find ourselves on. Many times along the way, we are frustrated, angered, not happy with where we are or where we are going. Many times the complaint may be I have followed the rules, followed the path as instructed, and I am still lost, and not happy where I am in life.

Let me suggest a path for you, and you alone. There will be many other people on it, all going in the same direction, perhaps even to the same place as you. At times you may stop and chat, or even travel together for a while, but it is still your path and true. You will arrive at its end and find peace and satisfaction having done so.

What is this path that I am suggesting. It is the same path you began at birth, with all the same pitfalls and obstructions, but it is a true path. We are calling it the Path of the Heart. The map, whether a fold out or map quest, guide or GPS, is controlled by the Heart, your Heart. “Wait a minute you, say what you are talking about, you’re not making any sense.”

What I am saying is trust the heart, physically as well as spiritually. It is at your center, your core self. It can and will be your Heart Compass. The Heart Center or Heart Mind will not lead you astray. You are the only one on that road, even if it is crowded and people are seemingly pushing you off track or onto a side road. If you are following your heart’s desires, hopes, and dreams and are faithful to them, you are following the path of the Heart.

This, by no means, suggests that life will be easy. What is does mean is that with all the distractions, missteps, faulty or other guidance, you will always remain true to yourself. Many lessons will be learned even if they are hard ones. You will have many bruises, cuts, or breaks along the way, but you will know “I did it my way, I was true to myself, and I did no harm to others, in fact, I honored and respected them. We traveled together on our separate and equal paths.”

On April 2, 2012, I turned sixty-two. It has been a long journey, and far from over. The path has not always been pleasant. This is not because Life has gotten in the way, nor because many things were unpleasant and hard. Invariably, it was the path I chose, many times on a side road, but what I have learned has been worth those sixty-two years. You see, many times unknowingly, I have followed my heart. I know many choices have not been perfect and I yet may stray, but I am following my Heart’s Path, my heart’s desire, and I know that the day will come when I have reached the end of that road, or should I say the intersection to yet another Heart’s path.

May you find your Heart’s path and may your journey be equally fantastic as mine is continuing to be. And yes, I will probably cross paths with you along the way.

Blue Papaya – The Eternal Emotion

The individuals who have come to our earth plane to help our species evolve further, the indigo’s, crystal’s, & rainbow’s, are all centered from their heart chakra, not from the gut or the third chakra from which power derives and where most of society chooses to exist.  For many of the new consciousness children it is abundantly clear that we are a planet that has dangerously forgotten the power of the love from which we come from, source or God. Our human egos and our fears have greatly stopped the flow of the most pure emotion, the only true emotion, the eternal emotion that is love.

Love is a secure and warm place to reside. Love accepts all, heals all, and never ends. The love we create flows vividly through the heavens, like the great lights of the Borealis and Australis. Eternal, infinite and beautiful.

What is REAL, genuine love? What does the love that the universe is created from and hums to feel like? There is actually a very good and often quoted guide in the book of Corinthians in the New Testiment of the Bible.

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”

When you have reached a level of real and genuine love, patience and kindness extends to all you meet, not just to members of family and close friends. You are patient with everyone, you are kind to everyone. This does not mean you must love every one of them as though they were a member of your family, for honestly, that won’t be possible in every situation. Still, to strive to treat everyone you meet in life with the same kindness, consideration and respect that you wish to have bestowed upon you is a good start.

Love also has healthy boundaries. Love isn’t needy, happiness isn’t dependent on another individual and their affections. You remain an individual when you have healthy boundaries. Love rejoices at success and supports interests, growth and happiness.  Love allows individual growth even if it means the possible loss of a relationship.

Love understands that everyone grows at their own rate. What is easy for one, is being worked on by another. Patience and compassion are both qualities of working from a state of love when recognizing this in another.  Mocking, judging, excessive pride in self and making derogatory comments of others are all examples of NOT coming from a place of love.

For the new consciousness children the reality of love is as unique as they are. Some vividly remember or know what love should be like, while others have no idea and still others are somewhere in the middle. For those who are fortunate to remember genuine love or have a innate sense of what it should be, they have very high ideals and are often disappointed in peers and mentors who give a facade of being evolved but upon closer inspection have yet to work beyond the baser human ego issues of pride, ego, fear, accepting responsibility for their choices and ultimately, self love.

This is a dilemma for some. Their disappointment palpable and often disguised as anger.  Crystal’s and early rainbow’s can decide to separate themselves from individuals such as this. They want to be surrounded by those who are not held down by emotions that are only illusions.  Unfortunately for our youth, the environment in middle school and beyond is often very toxic and the antithesis of love.

As parents it is in our best interest to begin to be an example to our youth at a young age so that they can handle these disappointments with grace and compassion. Explain people and situations as honestly as possible and without judgment yourself. Be an example of tolerance of others but still have strong personal boundaries. Allow conversations about situations and individuals as they happen and then let it drop. You may find by doing this your child is using their perceptions wisely and often with more compassion than you realized they possessed. The more often they are aware of the deeper meanings behind an individuals chosen actions, the more likely they are to view the individual honestly and from a place of love, than to fall into a trap of toxicity. This also will allow them to hold onto that core of innate love. By practicing it daily, talking through those rough spots openly and with compassion, it will be easier for our youth to continue their mission to raise planets vibration and move our human species towards living from the heart.

Our next Blue Papaya gathering will be Friday, April 20th. Have you ever wondered about Crystal Skulls? What is their history, what were they used for, and what are their benefits today? We’ll be tackling all this and a few experiments too! As always, Blue Papaya is an event for youth ages 8 – 23, adults welcome when accompanied by a youth! Join us at 7 pm at Crystal Life Technology. 121 S. Third St., Geneva IL.
