Classic Car enthusiasts will gather together again August 26th in Geneva, Illinois to view a beautiful collection of antique, classic and modern automobiles. Participants from all over the Country will display their prized automobiles on Third street, hoping to be awarded one of the coveted “Benz” Trophies. For 2012 Packard will be our Feature Marque. Third Street is the heart of Geneva’s charming downtown shopping district lined with shops, restaurants, parks and historical buildings. This Concours is open to the public at no cost making this a wonderful family event with something for everyone to enjoy and marvel. The Geneva Concours d’Elegance is your only opportunity in the area to view this fantastic collection of award-winning, unique and rare automobiles.

3rd Annual Nature Spirit Photo Contest

Come one, come all, it’s time for our popular and always fascinating Nature Spirit Photo Contest! What is a nature spirit photo? Any nature image showing unusual forms or intelligent contact by nature with humans. Having two categories, youth & adult, this photo contest is open to amateur and professional photographers. Not only are there fabulous prizes for those placing in first, second and third,  all finalists will have their images on display at Crystal Life during the month of October. You have until September 15 to submit your photo! Entry Form

Grandfather Buffalo teaches earth-centric traditions ranging from crystal therapy to goddess, Celtic, Christian, runic and Native American traditions. While he trained with a Blackfoot shaman and is part Cherokee, he presents from a non-tribal perspective.

Mayan Chakra Healing with Rodrigo Duque.

Rodrigo is a Pipe Carrier and Sun Dancer of the Lakota tradition. He teaches many workshops including topics like Crystal Grids, Shamanic principles, Pipe Ceremonies, healing techniques and much more.

This is an ISIC social program for holistic professionals who apply alternative methodologies to their practices. At each meeting there is a half hour of sharing by a practitioner.

Come join us at the Fabyan Forest Preserve where Blue Papaya member and art teacher Al Ochsner will instruct us on how to draw nature spirits.

We’ll meet on the north lawn by the Fabyan home. This preserve entrance is on the west side of the Fox River, just north of Fabyan Parkway.

Please bring unlined paper, and pencil. You are welcome to bring another media choices you prefer, such as crayons, water colors, chalk, oil pastels. You may wish to bring something to clean your hands with at the end of this gathering.
