I just came back from a trip to Ireland.
We were walking along a small stream, running through one of the towns…. I have been searching for trees that show life form for about a year, without any luck.
This was just amazing… I could feel the energy of this tree, which was very strong.

My father, who was a well known literal rocket scientist, said he refused to believe in a world that didn’t have fairies. He spent his last days as he died of cancer looking out at the garden he planted to attract them. On a recent visit home I thanked his fairy friends for their work on the beautiful garden several times. On my last evening I took some pictures and asked if they might appear. I saw them with my eyes as they swooped down in a loop-de-loop in front of me and flew up to disappear in the tall trees. I caught them on camera and would like to share them with you. They flew as if holding hands and gave off their own light. Do you know what these might be?

Atala’s response: this is where I started my work photographing nature spirits – I was gifted with a photograph of spirits, which I could see because I felt and saw the energy, but which because of the quality of the photograph it was difficult for anyone else to see “for sure.” And thus began my own personal journey to learn photography so that I could present good, solid images of what I knew and could see existed.
So while you are able to see these fairy beings, it would be difficult for anyone else to say a firm yes or no that these are, indeed, fairies and not moths or insects of some sort.
You might consider it a worthy legacy gift to your father to start mastering photography enough to take a good, solid image of the fairies he so believed in. That fairy “eye” is a gene that runs in family lineages, so it appears you also inherently have the gift, and could develop it. The new digital cameras and computer technology are a great help in this regard.

We sent our response to Linda, and she replied, sending us a photograph of a wonderful tree guardian. It seems that the rocks and trees are serving many of us as a holding space where nature beings and humans can meet, see and communicate with each other. They serve as a gateway between worlds.
I am excited to be beginning what appears to be a new journey. Your books gave me a base for things I had always intuitively known but had no “proof.” You will be hearing from me again as I grow and have more pictures to send you. Attached is a picture of the old tree man who watches over me and my quilt shop.
I have been visiting this small Downers Grove Park for about 20 years. I questioned why this tree was leaning so much to the east. In summer with all for its foilage, it looks like it could touch the ground.

Some orbs contain life forms. The orb is then like the aura of a human energy field – it contains the life form. An orb can also be an interdimensional travel vehicle. Here are some images inside orbs in photos taken by Kelly Kamas. Kelly won Honorable Mention in our 2012 Nature Spirit Photo Contest for her night photo of orbs.
Orbs come in different colors, and so show the energy of the being inside them. Blue and blue-green orbs contain beneficent beings who like to assist humans. Kelly sent us a number of images recently and one – a blue green orb – has a form I have seen, over the years, in other orb photos and also drawn by artists who can see into other dimensions. It is of an angular, fine-featured being with a lot of hair framing the face. I overlaid tracing paper and outlined the form, so it can be seen more clearly. I’ve seen drawings of this life form shown wearing a piece of headgear with a fancy medallion on the front. As I looked at this image, it appears to me the medallion is actually her familiar – an animal spirit who watches out for her. Kelly tells us about this orb:
I was in my barn the other evening feeding dinner to my horses. My Chief is a 33+ year old rescue, and my Molly is a 20 year old insulin resistant mare (so both of my horses require special care.) I was standing in the doorway of my barn looking out into the paddock. I started praying, THANKFUL that I had a safe paddock for them. I was thankful that I had food for them to eat, and the strength and ability to properly care for my horses. I was thankful for the barn that stands so secure and stable during all of this wind, and cold snowy weather. I realized that I still needed to sweep, so I left the doorway. I was then “inspired” to take a picture of where I had been praying, and this beautiful blue/green orb was right where I had been. I quickly snapped another shot (1898), and the orb had moved up into the loft (in front of the hay.) If you enlarge the orb, there is definitely something in there. I saw a heart, and my sister saw a Sprite or Faery. I believe that the beautiful, loving orb was acknowledging my prayers of thanksgiving 
Kelly also sent us an image of a white orb with a form inside, which I’ve also traced over to show you. Kelly tells us the picture was taken in my barn, just in front of the stall door. There is a bright, white orb. I lightened and cropped that pic… I see a distinct man’s face.
A third series she sent show a skeletal form sitting in a recliner in her living room. Kelly tells us about the photo, which: 
at first glance, shows an orb on the side of my recliner. I cropped and lightened that one too (saved it as “spirit recliner lightened”) , and it shows a Spirit MAN sitting IN the recliner (not ON it!), facing to our right.
Hi – Here’s a photo of my cat with her energy bead, I bought it the other day because she hasn’t been feeling well and was going in her litter box a lot….
When I got it yesterday I put it on right away and she is feeling better already, not 100% but noticeably different so figured I’d share….

Duane Heaton – Agate Geode Slice
The beauty of stones as seen by nature photographers – here are a few of the viewpoints my colleagues at the Morton Arboretum Photographic Society found interesting. I brought in an array of Crystal Life’s stones to the Arboretum’s educational building, for the club to have fun photographing. More than twenty photographers – a limit ceiling because of available space – gathered to experiment with light, perspective and form. It was wonderful to see our stones appreciated in yet another way – for their sheer beauty of being!
What I found particularly interesting was how uniquely each of these nature photographers approached their subject. Their interactions with the stones varied from bold to subtle, classic to photographic experiments.
The club meets monthly at the Morton Arboretum and then takes additional outings to photograph various sites. This was a macro shoot. To see more views, visit the Macro Outing Room at the Club site.

Here is a photo of a tree that used to exist in our yard (it perished in the big storm that hit the area on July 1st last year – it fell ever so gently onto our roof with minimal damage).
When the tree fell – I was devastated and pleaded with my hubby to find the photos that he took of the tree the year before that shows a single mushroom growing in a nook in the trunk of the tree. At the time – I just thought it was pretty cool that a mushroom could grow in such a place.
When we took a closer look at the picture and of the mushroom in the nook – there appears to be a nature spirit embracing the nook/mushroom. Do you also see a figure who appears to be protecting the mushroom? – Kory Gunderson
